Dan Armstrong  hasn't visited the UK on his bike yet, intends to, but in the meantime he tells us of his trip through Cuba (it's not the National Cycle Network, but it's worth reading).

Dave Anderson
ventures onto the C2C route most Sundays, but decided to venture further and undertook a sponsored ride around parts of China. Not always the tourist route too.

"The roads on the outskirts of Sanshimudi Village are strewn with wheat from the fields as two riders take a nap. The farmers throw the wheat onto the road. Passing cars and lorries crush the wheat from the chaff while the draught from the moving vehicles blows away the debris. The farmers then sweep the roads clean and bag the grain. How's that for ingenuity!"

Sharon Bouchonville
had longed for this personal trip, finally arranged it and cycled her way along the USA - Canadian border.

"A lot of people ask me what I think about on all those miles riding alone. Well, I think about the beautiful scenery God has given us in this world, and how we are often traveling too fast to see it all. I think about the awesome sounds of nature which we usually close out in favor of air conditioning. And I think about the wonderful aromas that we are so often too busy to notice. And this is why I love to ride, because I have nothing to do but ride and enjoy all these things".
