Souter Lighthouse

Souter lighthouse opened in 1871 and was at the time the most advanced lighthouse in the world specifically constructed to use electric light. The Lighthouse is now owned by the National Trust and a visit finds the Engine Room, Light Tower, Victorian Keepers Living Quarters and Compass Room.
