Surrey Cycleway��94 miles, circularFor a scenic cycle along country roads, the Surrey Cycleway gives you the chance to explore some of the most beautiful parts of southern Surrey. The best-known landscape feature is probably the North Downs a rolling swathe of hills formed from chalk. Visit Leith Hill the highest point in southern England, or explore the woods of Ranmore Common, the farm parks, historic houses. The route uses quiet country roads and lanes and is well sign-posted.�Apart from the main loop there are a number of 'links' which enable you to do shorter circuits. There are also links to major towns in Surrey (e.g. Epsom, Woking and Farnham).
North Downs WayWest 71 miles, linear East��85 miles, linear The�North Downs Way�is 156 miles long and intersects the NCN '�Downs�and Weald Cycle Route' around the�Reigate�area. This is not a cycle route as such, but many long sections are available for cyclists.
North Downs Mountain Bike Routes
The North & South Downs are two ridges of hills and the Mountain Biking Guide contains 24 routes from 10 - 22 miles long, many of which can be linked to make much longer mountain bike rides. �
